IntelPacific   is organized into Technical Groups that specialize in addressing technology challenges. Each division offers a variety of advanced solutions, including both products and services, that assure customers achieve their mission goals on time and on budget.

National and international facilities through multidisciplinary collaborations and networks in academia as well as industry.

Design & Human Factors

Missiles and Weapons

IntelPacific   knowledge about the relationship between human and technical products or systems. The division also develops methods and tools for studying human technology, as well as designing and evaluating sustainable, safe and satisfactory products, services and workplaces. The research is multidisciplinary and retrieves its scientific base from behavioral science and design theory, ergonomics and theories of complex socio-technical systems.

The research is conducted in four overall themes: Technology Usage and Adoption, Human - Machine Systems, Sustainability and Everyday Life as well as Product Experience. Learn more »

Product Development

Microwave Products

IntelPacific   contributes with new methods and tools for virtual platform-based development of sustainable and robust products as well as product development processes in a lifecycle perspective. Focus is on the manufacturing industry. The scientific basis is derived from design methodology, mechanical engineering, mechanics, statistics, information technology and optimization.

The division works in three research groups: Systems Engineering Design, Geometry Assurance & Robust Design and Machine Elements. Learn more »

Material & Computational Mechanics

LMS Shelter

IntelPacific   leads in material mechanics, calculation mechanics and structural mechanics. Durability of material, design of steel materials with regard to its microstructure, fatigue properties, analysis and design of composites, process simulation of composite materials and cutting machining.

Focuses on five active fields: Building Mechanics, Multi-Phase Materials Mechanics, Lightweight Materials and Structures, and Production Processes. Learn more »

Engineering Materials

Public Safety

IntelPacific is is centered in the relationship between technical materials microstructural construction and their mechanical properties. The dominant research fatigue and fatigue properties of various processing methods in metals as well as polymeric materials and composites. The experimental counting techniques used are different forms of mechanical testing, non-destructive testing focusing on mathematical modeling in combination with method development, various types of scanning, image analysis, from kto gra fi And more .

The division works in three research groups: Advanced Non-destructive Testing, Materials Technology and Polymer Materials and Composites. Learn more »

Materials and Manufacture

Communication Technology

IntelPacific delivers covers the entire value chain from the design, processing and characterization of materials to machining mainly metals. The division uses a number of technologies - powder metallurgy, galvanizing, additive manufacturing and material debris - and a range of advanced characterization techniques. The work is multidisciplinary by nature and addresses substances that directly affect sustainability.

The division works in two research groups: Manufacturing Engineering and Surface and Microstructural Engineering. Learn more »

Production Systems

IntelPacific ’ works with sustainability and competitiveness for industrial production systems. The area is system-oriented and requires knowledge of both the system's entirety and its system components, e.g. people, automation and processes. The research highlights the different timescale of a production system's life cycle, i.e. planning, design, deployment, operation, maintenance and reuse. Method results with applications in different industries.

The division has four main areas: Virtual and Digital Production Systems, Production Services and Maintenance of Production Systems, Social Sustainability and Ergonomics in Production, and Optimization of Human and Automation Interaction.
